Tire help on a 2002 Wrangler Sport

I have a 2002 Wrangler Sport 4.0L
Came stock with 30 x 9.50 x 15 tires.

Does anybody know what width the wheel is on these?
I am considering 31 x 10.50 x 15 tires and want to make sure they will fit the rim.

I am pretty sure there will be no clearance issues but if anybody knows anything, I'd appreciate their feedback on that as well.

What kind of stock wheels do you have? I have an 02 sport that had stock Canyon's and they were 15x8's. I'm running 31x10.5's as well....no rub whatsoever.

google search "jeep canyon wheels" and see if they are a match. These were kinda the top of the line jeep wheels...their are others that were not near as nice as the canyons.

Those are the Canyon's. I don't know what width tire can mount on what width rim, but I ran my 15x8 canyons on 10.5w tires.

I have 31x10.50 and they do rub in front on very sharp turns. Not enough to worry over though..

I had a '97 that 31x10.50's did the same thing. I always figured it was because it was the basic version/econobox with the smaller stock wheels.

I don't want the rubbing again. That kind of drove me nuts (though the wife didn't mind). Do you have the Sport version? Does the style even matter?

Can anybody else chime in on this?

They would not fit the stock wheels on my 1997 Wrangler... I had to buy another set of wheels from a Jeep guy that took off his stock ones...

Those are the same rims I have on my 2000 Sport. I have the 31 x 10.5's on there as well. No rubbing problems at all.

I wonder why the owner above [Cory] has some rubbing then?
I bet he has something similar to my 1997 (that rubbed).
