Tire pressure 31x10.50

I have 31x10.50 BFG AT's. 2000 Tj i6. I've been running 31 psi. Took it to a tire shop they pumped in 35-40 now rides extremely stiff. What is the recommended psi range for our TJs for on road driving with 31x10.50s?

It is whatever you want it to be. I keep mine (same tires) at 28-29 and I think they ride great.
I have BFG ATs on my Crew Cab truck and keep them at 32-34.

30-31 psi at the most is fine for your 31" ATs. Some tire shop tire jocks are just plain stupid when it comes to what is the correct tire pressure, many erroneously think you're supposed to run the pressure molded onto the tire's sidewall.

I was thinking of this the other day, when I first got my duratracs I specified to the guys I wanted 30psi, I got a tire rotation last week and they pumped them to 35psi, rides bumpy as all hell, good thing I've driven the jeep twice since, and with today off, finally I have time and ill air them down to 30psi.

I let them put I whatever they want or are told to by their boss. I reduce mine to 26 the first thing the next morning when the tires are cold.

How about for a 33x12.5x15? What do you guys usually have the tire pressure at?

I had the same question the other day. Jerry B recommended to me that you run 33's at 26-28 psi. 26 being when the Jeep has only the driver and a passenger and 28 when the jeep is fully loaded.
