Tire prices

And we complain about tire prices,,, that price tag is a starting price for bottom shelf tires that might last a year or 100,000 miles .. The price does not include taxes, and you'ed better have good casings to trade in or the price goes up 320 bucks..+ 400 to dispose of old tires.... Want top shelf tires? Add another thousand... I'm happy to be paying 250 to 300 a tire that will last me 5 to 6 years on my jeep... KMs with 35,000 on em..

But do you know big rigs and bus companies can lease their tires by the mile.

Yes, the price of the lease also includes road service, much like my company has lease agreements on our tractors.. Fleets can do that, as the bottom line makes sense.. Unaffordable for owner operators...

Considering they're semi-tires and weigh over 100lbs each, I don't think the price is that bad. You can spend more on some top M/Ts

Oh I thought I was on the Wrangler forum in the TJ technical section for a minute. Wait a minute.........

Who cares about big rig tire prices (those that do certainly won't be looking here for input)
