Tire Size and kind of tire???

Looking at getting new tires, I would like to increase to a 31/10.50 x 15 or 30/10.50 x 15...Being my Sahara still has the stock suspension. What would be the largest size tire that I could put on it. Not looking at doing a lift kit any time soon...
Also looking around for a good all terrain nothing real aggressive, any suggestions?.....Thanks

31x10.5 is the biggest you can run stock. For tires i'd go with either bfgoodrich at's, goodyear duratracs, or general grabber at2's

My vote would be the Duratracs, that'll be what I put on to replace the Coopers on my rig now.

We have BFG All Terrains on my wife's JK and they have been great tires if you are looking for good street tires that are OK off the pavement.

Goodyear Wrangler Authority's from Walmart in 31's. Ran them on my last Jeep and have 265's on the current Jeep. Best all around tire I've ever ran!

Duratracs are quiet on road, great in the rain, do very well off road, and look good too.

I too have the Authority's. Have about 12K on them and they look almost new. I love them.

I went with 15x8 MB TKO wheels, 31x10.5 Duratracs from Discount Tire. The duratracs are VERY quiet, ride well, and I've not heard any bad things about them. I don't have a lift either, but the 31's fit just fine. GREAT tires!

Tried to go with the walmart goodyear wrangler authorities, wouldn't install them says not recomended tire size so went with Mastercraft Courser C/T's just installed Saturday loving them so far. Hopefully snow comes soon and can test them out.

I have 99 with factory suspension and I put
Goodyear Duratrac 31 x 10.50's on. I love them. They do rub if I make a tight turn. I was ready to play in the snow and all we got was a two inches. I'll have to get her in the mud and see what next winter brings us.

I upgraded to BF mud terrains 31x10.50x15 on stock wheels. ... It rubbed at full turn (tires hit sway bar)... Im sure if you where to go with different wheels with better back spacing you should be okay....This past winter tho, when we were hit some what bad (Chicago land area) the tires made a night and day difference in the snow. Cant wait to try them out on a trail!

Pics ^

Threw on a Zone 3" Suspension lift today... No more rub.

Hopefully pictures showed.

Anyways, Great tire! Highly suggest it.
