Tire Size Question

Hey Guys,

Quick question here. I'm looking at buying a set of Nokian Vatiiva M/T in 265/75R16 for my Jeep. Would I need to do anything to run these on a stock Jeep? Would I need wheel spacers or a body lift to stop any rubbing? The stock tires that came on my jeep are Goodyear Wrangler MT/R in 245/75R16 on the stock Rubicon 16" wheels. My jeep is a 2004 TJ Sahara, stock suspension, 5 Spd manual and 4.0L. Thanks for the help!

That's about a 31.6" tire. You COULD fit it but it's going to be cutting it close, especially if you plan to take it off the pavement. I would add at least a 1" Body lift if it were me.

Anyone who can legally own a firearm can carry it concealed in Vermont with no permit/license

Yeah I was thinking it might be tight. I'm from Southern Ontario and having found much off road areas around here yet so I'm probably good until Spring. They just don't make these tires in my stock size. I like the rims and these tires are rated really well in the snow, ice and rain, which we get lots here.

I've heard that I might have some control arm rub on the back? Would a set of wheel spacers stop that front happening?
