Denver isn't bad in the winter... You would be just fine with some good at's. Not sure if you've done any research on winters here, but usually it snows, then melts within a couple of days. It doesn't stay on the ground for long, except in some cases, but usually the longest is about 2 weeks. Also the plows take care of most of snow on the streets. I was using a 2wd single cab pickup last winter and it sucked in the snow, BUT, I only had problems in my driveway (live in the middle of no where, where plows aren't in a hurry to get to, and my driveway was steep and long). So with a jeep with some at's you will be just fine. Also, the farmers almanac says this winter is going to be mild, so shouldn't be bad for your first year. Good luck!
