I'd say gray but that's just because I wouldn't want that much paint on the interior

I ended up painting the whole thing cause I didnt like the contrast between the glossy yellow and flat grey. But I also wanted the whole black and yellow color scheme.

I think the grey looks ok. I will say the red on black looks a lot sharper. Oh and I would paint under the oh sh*t handle. Its just two 10 mm nuts. I think that would make it look more "finished". Looks real good though, not trying to down your rig by all means!

Yes!! Duplicolor is some great rattle can paint. I also used the bumper coating on the crome headlight rings. I used duplicolor black wheel coating for my wheels. For some reason the advance auto stores here in southeast Va. are saying the wheel coating is now discontinued....not sure why...Like you stated before,"prep is key"...thanks for the interior paint ideas. I will be picking up some orange tomorrow when I get off work...hahaha

Alright so thanks to this thread, the girlfriend and I felt inspired to do ours.

When we bought this a week and a half ago the gray interior didn't really bother either of us. The more I looked at it though, the more I hated it.

Originally we were going to do all black, then at the last minute we decided to go two tone and did a gray and black. We couldn't be happier with the results!

I noticed what you have done to your jeep and you have really brought the life back into it. My jeep is starting to get to the point to where I need to bring some life back into mine. Ive been looking at you photos and ideas and love them. I happened to notice some interior photos. What kind of flooring do you have in your jeep. Mine doesnt have carpet in it but the paint on the interior is all scratched and rhino lining it is just too much out of my price range. Debating on recarpeting it or some other alternative solution. Have any ideas and what do you have?

And for those wondering, we did end up pulling the entire dash off and painting it. Painting it inside the jeep just seemed to risky and half a$$ed. Glad we did it, the whole thing only took us about 11 hours start to finish.

Just taped them off. I thought I did a good job taping them but when I pulled them off I didn't have a sharp clean line. A toothpick and sponge fixed that right up though! Just make sure you pull off the tape after about 10 minutes of dry time. That way it's not set enough to stick to the exterior paint if you do happen to overspray.

Yes just a damp sponge and a toothpick. Scrape it with the toothpick and wipe off the excess.
