What is the color of the DBC that you used here? Black or charcoal? I can't tell.

My only problem with my interior is the smell of gear oil.

Black, it's really all I can find in the stores here. When you see it in person there is no mistaken that it's black.

The girlfriend drew that for one of her friends in a game. Thought it was cute.

I got it at an auto body supply store, search here to find a supplier in your area. SEM Products :: Where To Buy where ever it sends you plan to spend an hour or so there cause its likely they will have loads of fun stuff for modifying your jeep.

So after 3+ years I finally went to restore/change my interior. Looks alright but still needs a little more mud IMO.

Old Look...

New Look...

Still an interesting mix. I'd go with a darker blue personally. But definitely cool!

I agree.

I always thought a "Harley-Davidson" type color combo (Copper and Black) would be very cool.

simply an awesome and cheap way to improve the look of your Jeep-THANKS!

I was searching for some new ideas to improve the look of my interior of my Jeep, and all the interior decal kits cost a pretty penny...at least more than I wanted to pay for just a change of look. When I stumbled onto this thread, I was amazed by how fresh and beautiful a simple can of spray paint can do for the interior. I just can't believe I didn't think of that sooner. Thanks again for this simple suggestion.

Were always glad to help, if you have any questions or ideas run them by us here first, truth is we have done the trial and error for you and can tell you from experience if something will work or not. Also, theres alot more prep work involved than a decal set, but I can tell you that you will be much happier with the result. Post up some pics when you are done!

+1 - I was replacing the driver's side exterior handle on my Jeep. While I had the interior door panel off I painted it with SEM's Camel plastic and vinyl paint. It is "nearly" a perfect match to the OEM spice interior color. Now the rest of the interior look like crap.

I've thought about doing that. My Orion XTR grills would look nice in red and black.

Well, it still gets dusty... it wipes off easy enough, but it does still get dust on it.

Done for now and will post better pictures tomorrow when I get the seats back in. For a total of 80 dollars I rhino lined with dupli color bed liner and painted dash pieces with Khaki camo rattle paint.

I took everything out and when it got dry to the touch I put everything back in that's why nothing is tied up while it drys the rest of the way
