Everything looks great here, going to press my luck on my dash tomorrow. Two tone black and orange. Great inspiration!

That looks great. Wish I could have seen his face when you walked in with a door, "can you match this color?"

May I ask what you used between the green and tan on the doors, if anything? It looks like some sort of trim.

...and did you park in the Best Buy tree hugger parking spot? I do.

Nothing j just masked it off right in the middle of the little valley on each side.

And no I didn't I work at best buy and ours dumbly enough only has handicapped spots... For now. Being in OK not a lot of concern goes into the environment.

Just out of curiosity now, has anyone really had to clean on this paint? I would assume it could like scrub off if you scrubbed hard.

Ive cleaned mine several times and it has held up well. Occasionally I will get a very small chip if i'm pulling off a clump of dirt but overall I have been very impressed with how well it has held up. I am a firm believer that it's all in the prep work.

I also sprayed everything with adhesion promoter and I feel like that helped substantially.

Making some progress. I had hoped to be done by now but I have one more day of black and the horrible fumes from the bumper coating. The stuff is super tough though and I'm glad I used it (thanks Dragon). The visors, tuffy boxes and the spice or camel stuff is gone. I always though this tan was spice but every piece I have looked at has a factory sticker and says camel. I shot stone white over the bright white stuff to match better and will install all that stuff after I replace damn near every bulb in this thing with LED's. Its crazy how this project just keeps getting bigger the further I dig into it.

Hey quick question for you guys I want to put a tiny but of red on my interior and te color of my jeep is pr4 flame red (I think it's pr4) and was wondering how well the krylon fusion red for plastic matched the factory red. Is it really noticeable? I know that the op said its a little more orange than it, so I want to just see if I could get away with it for small portions of the interior. I talked to the op about it before but I can't find what he said so posting again lol

Fusion Banner red vs Jeep Flame red

Krylon does a make different red that may be a better fit.

Thanks for the pic I'm going with the red that is good for the plastic so if that's that one it will do its close enough for me.

No not doing pin striping like that I have the pen for scratches and stuff already
But thanks for the idea I might be able to pull something off with the pen though! I'll post pics when I do it!

Oh yeah one more question how has the krylon fusion for plastic held up? It work as good as they say it does without any priming or sanding?

I can tell you it doesnt mix well with polishing compound. I have that stuff all over me by the end of the day and where I put my arm on my door the paint is deteriorating. Thats to be expected tho considering theres a fair amount of chemicals in that shiz. But everywhere else its holding up great. I have taken a magic eraser to it in a few spots to get the grease off it from the mechanics and that seems to work great since theres not really alot of scrubbing involved.

I would say to prevent chipping you should load the paint on it, I put way too many coats on it and that might be why Im not having very many problems.

Ive got a few chips also were I rest my arm. I think mine is a combo of getting wet (I always forget to roll up my Windows) and my arm sweating on that same spot everyday
