Ok Jeep People, can any one tell me if these are Factory Seats ? I have 2 people at least every day ask me where I got them. They were in my Rig when I bought it. It's an 04 TJ X and yes the back seat matches but it lives in my spare room with the half doors and windows.

They are factory Willys edition seats... is your jeep green? It could be a Willys edition at the details have been removed?

That would explain the body color. I understand its called Moss Green Pearl. It has no stickers or badging on it but I just looked up the Willys Edition and its a dead Ringer. Dark Green Flares and all.

Thanks for the info! It's going to be very helpful, although I'm painting the wife's back to black since the Texas sun has faded everything to chalky grey.

In for the subscription, I have mine almost done, as it is torn apart for the heater core task. What a fun job.. But it will look nice when I get it back together. Should have the rest of the heater box parts tomorrow as well as more Duplacolor Bumper black as I bought all they had.. And need a couple more cans for the doors.

I also shot a coat of white fusion under the parts I was painting yellow as I heard it took quite a bit to cover the gray. The white really made it POP.
Yes I know another Yellow one LOL. pics to follow

I have an all tan interior (sigh), aside from dashboard, which is black. Dark green outside and tan top. Any suggestions as to what I could use for accent color?

Orange or yellow would look good with a tan base. Of course, dark green to match the body would also work.

Has anyone on here painted their springs, shocks and anything else underneath? I know this is an interior thread but just trying to get an idea if which paint works best down there.

A friend of mine with about 4-5" lift and 33s did his springs, diff covers, and d rings (at my suggestion) and I think it looks amazing. Not too much yellow but enough to break up the black underneath. I would love to do mine, buy with a stocker there's no point since you can't see it. I just paint everything black to give it a clean rust free look.

My plan is to paint all black but then my accent color is orange, so I was going to do the shocks, steering stabilizer and diff covers orange. And then I was going to mist the springs with that same orange. Might do some other stuff too, not sure yet. Just trying to figure out which paint to use on the color. For black I was going to do rustoleum bed liner, or just a rustoleum industrial primer and paint.

Do you just spray right over the bolts? Have you needed to remove any since painting? Are the a little more difficult.

Yes I spray over everything... I've serviced the diffs and replaced the shocks and didn't have any problems removing the bolts.

I will. Having an issue with the krylon fusion paint coming off the interior. Just a matter of needing more coats? Or did I do this wrong? I used acetone to clean. And scuffed it up some with steel wool. Then painted it on. Did I miss something? Lol

Has anyone tried to get a factory match on their interior? I have the agate (dark Grey) and i got half doirs with the light grey interior panels. I am afraid the keylon fusion will too glossy to match the agate. Has anyone tried the duplicolor vinyl paint?

Did you wipe the panels with acetone after you scuffed them?
