i have a sahara green TJ and currently have a tan top w/ tan interior.
just bought a black rampage top, black upper door skins, painting my grill inserts black, and buying black rims soon. what color would go well with the GREEN PAINT / BLACK TOP / TAN INTERIOR ??? would just tan and black be good?

I would like to see a black dash with tan wrap around it, Like where dragonii did red you should leave tan then paint the surrounding areas black. oooooor.... Black dash and green wrap, up to you but I wouldnt do a black wrap with a tan dash I think it would look odd. Just an opinion tho.

I'd say do the color match green in the center of doors, glove box under steering wheel and speaker covers and leave the rest of the dash tan. If you have the green sahars seats it would look great

I think a green dash with a pastel orange wrap around would look sweet. Go too bright on the orange though and it might not look as good. Look at a color wheel chart; match something you like to your original jeep color (in this case green) and just roll with it. If you don't like it you can always change it again.

We need someone to create some sort of image that we could drop different colors into to test patterns.

I've done something like this before, maybe after I get off work tonight at 11:30pm I'll see what I can do.

I can do it two ways....
1) as a photoshop file that you download. This one is super easy, but requires photoshop for you guys to use.
2) as a website. This one takes quite sometime to setup, but will work for just about everyone

I'll let you guys know tonight if I'll be able to do this

Take a picture, print and color as you like.
I do this for any change involving paint. Once painted you are commited.
printed out pictures today to see if i would like hinges and front grill black or not.

first thought was black wrap and tan dash, looks great I will see if I can get Mikekaz1 to post up a pic of his. I also like the color combo of tan and hunter green. not sure if I would be brave enough to do it tho lol.

I'm wondering the same exact thing. I like what Dragonii and Yeller did on theirs, but there are no seat covers I have found that have a green stripe in the middle. I have seen tan/spice though. Not sure if I would do the middle in green or in spice/tan...

If I had a green Jeep with tan interior I would probably do earth tones on the interior and avoid greens like the body paint.
Brown, olive green, gray or just black and gray would look good.

Ok so I started painting my tool bar covers with the fabric/vinyl paint. It seems to work fairly well just eats some paint. One can did the soundbar and the passenger side front cover. And they both could prob use another coat.

Roll bar, not tool bar

I tried doing mine but I was up to 2 cans in just the spreader bars so I said screw it and found a new set for cheap on CL. That foam eats the paint and it's hard to get it even.

Nice work! I like the combo and the way you painted it, it looks great. thats good option for half doors. Now all you need to do is get some matching seat covers and ditch the carpet lol
