Depends on the liner and the installation, but you're right, it's permanent. I love the liner personally.

Too Cool, but where is a good place to get the seats done, I have a 99 TJ, and the seat colors are just horrible.

Quadratec is having a deal, if you buy a front set of neoprene then you get the rear free. I think its 170 bucks. Just some options. They are also two toned, have like 10 different colors to chose from.

I feel like the reason neoprene is so appealing is because they are the only seat covers that actually offer a variety of colors. I'm having trouble just finding some plain black non-neoprene covers (that won't completely break the bank), and an even harder time trying to find anything that has some green in it. But every time I consider giving in to the neoprene, I hear LilYeller's voice in the back of my head yelling at me.

Try using "frog tape" for masking...it's a lil pricey but leaves clean lines and asheres to anything.

Neoprene feels nice and breathes well... thats about the end of the good stuff. It fades fast (REALLY FAST!), gets really hot when in direct sunlight, and it does actually keep your seats underneath dry but that water has to go somewhere so it pools on top of the seat and gives you a nice surprise when you sit down. With real waterproof seats all you have to do it wipe them off with a chamois and youre good to go, the bad part about waterproof seat covers is that they dont breathe really well and if you are sweating and leaning back in your seat you get a wet back, but thats better than wet pants anyday, well... at least its easier to explain lol.

When I painted mine, the paint keeps scratching off.. I washed the crap out of it with dawn, then applied Acetone, yet it still scratches after five coats and 1 hour of drying.. What can I seal it with?

I used Krylon fusion.

Mine did that too. Just let it set up longer. Put it in the sun, that helps too. After a few days of dry time, mine stopped doing that

It's weird because most of the pieces aren't like that. For instance, my glove box cover and speaker covers etc. can be scratched and no paint with come off after 30 mins. But the main dash huge dash piece will scratch after 3 hours.
