Tired seat cushion foam

Seat foam on the driver's side is pretty worn down on my 97 sahara. How does one go about replacing this? Is it just simpler and easier to get new seats and if so what are the preferred seats to use? I dig these seat covers in Black and Tan but I know just simply putting them on top of the old cushion will do little for comfort

I've got the same issue. The foam feels "thin" and I can actually feel the springs under the foam. And, when standing outside on the passenger side looking across it appears that the seat is permanently pressed down and leans toward the rear of the vehicle a little.

I was thinking of looking for a salvage yard seat in good condition. Or possibly a pair so they will match without having to get them re-upholstered or buying expensive seat covers.

I had the same problem with the drivers seat in my 97.
I was sitting IN the seat instead of ON it.
I got some of these Rugged Ridge seat covers.

Rugged Ridge Custom Fabric Seat Cover, Front (pair) Black/Tan 48024

The bottom half of the seat cover has straps which tie securely around the base of the seat and really firmed it up - feels like a new seat.
I was so impressed I immediately ordered another set of seat covers for when the original ones wore out. But I've had the originals for over 2.5 years and apart from fading, they are showing no signs of wearing out and the seat hasn't lost any of its firmness.

PS - the pic in the link is of 03-06 RR seat cover, but they are very similar.

Here in Illinois there is a company called Rigg's Brothers. I popped my 97's seats out and brought to them. Phenomenal job re-stretching the springs, re-foaming, and replacing some trim pieces. Seats look and feel like new.
