Tires/Flares/Lift

Alright... So I have a few questions for the experienced people out there...

I plan in getting bushwacker flat flares, bigger tires, and possibly lift. So here's what I'm wondering:

With flat flares and no lift, what are the biggest tires I can fit?

If I want to fit 35x12.5's with flat flares, how much lift would I need?

This would be all on-road and maybe a few light trails.

Thanks for your time...

Assuming you have a D44, not a 35 and properly backspaced wheels, you can probably fit 35's with no lift, but a couple of inches would be better. If you have a D35, I wouldn't go bigger than 33's. You still need wheels or spacers and flat flares for 33's. And again, a couple of inches lift would be advisable. Take your gearing into consideration too...

TIMES 2 on everything she said. a lift would be beneficial for anything over 31s even if it's a 2" lift. If you want 35s tho you're going to have to gear down and swap out your axel. what year and type jeep do you have?
