What tires would be the best to run with a 4inch lift? Still want semi good mileage and my jeep is a more of a weekend warrior. It's a '04 tj. Any recommendations?

33" tires look good on a 4" lift, but you are going to loose some mileage going to any larger size tire, especially if you don't regear your differentials to match the additional tire diameter.

You're working backwards. First you decide what size tire you want to run, then pick a lift to accomodate the tire. You really don't want to go any higher than you need to.

If you're planning on going with a 4" lift I would also suggest 33" Tires. You can go with 35's on 4" of lift with the proper bump stops, but tires that large require regearing and other upgrades.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I run 33's w/ 4'' lift. love the set up and have no rubbing at all. get right around 200 miles to every tank. 13-15 MPG usually. less lately since its gotten cold. that is w/ stock gears and 4.0

Thanks, they are Raceline Raptor wheels, but I bought them a few years ago before I thought about the downsides of going to 16" wheels (they only come in 16"). I probably wouldn't get them again.

I'm doing new rims and tires in the spring. Might look into those despite the 16s.

Thanks, I'll definitely be moving up to 33s soon and I'll get a lift that fits well. Any recommendations on a specific lift?
