I have a tj with a 4 cylinder will a 6 cylinder bolt up to the transmission?

I believe it will bolt on, however... the computer and entire ECM wiring harness will be different. Not really a plug n play upgrade from my understanding.

No. You will need the different bellhousing or an adapter for the bellhousing you have on the 2.5L

the 4.0 is to powerful for the 2.5 manual tranny anyway. the ax5 is good, for a little 4cyl but a big torque motor like the 4.0 would destroy it in no time.

I'm pretty sure you'll need a new transmission, fan shroud, engine mounts, wiring harness, possibly transfer case (people seem to be debating about that one), and probably even more things.

All in one, not a quick and cheap job!
