Ahhh everybody's Jeep makes me jealous. I wish I had more money. At least enough for bigger tires before I go to basic training! Looks awesome though, can't wait to see it finished.

Looks good boss. Any chance you have a closer picture of the gap between the spreader bar and where the A pillar connects to it? Just curious as to getting a sufficient weld down in there (Since I have in no way shape or form the ability to TIG at all). I like the design.

I will try to get other pics this weekend, I would rather TIG the cage but time is tight. Running the MIG is alot quicker and will be plenty strong enough for this application. There are some gaps that might be alittle difficult to TIG for some, but they are doable.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about was the gap to get it burned in between the plate and the tube. Looks doable, by someone with more welding skill than I have.

My hard top will still fit, when the hardtop is off I may run like that or use a bikini top. Its like 10 degrees outside so I really havent thought about it to much.

Gotta keep the glass in good shape. Besides that blanket only has a few holes in it.

It will most likely be sprayed with hammerite spray cans like my fenders. It makes touch ups a piece of cake.

the cage looks awesome. just wondering though....why did you go with a cowl mount instead of running a tube through the back of the dash for more strength? it seems like you placed tube in all the right places and did a lot of extra tube work, but went the 'lesser' direction with the front down bars...
