Mine for just the cluster, OD switch, Trans and HVAC was about $30 shipped for all the bulbs.

Yea mine was $38...I did the one extra bulb for each section, just in case I got a bad bulb. I did use the extra for the instrument panel. I used those wedges pictured for the tire wells, and I also did not put the white globe back on (makes it brighter). In terms of ordering, I followed someone's post on page 70 or 71 (those page numbers correlate with the iPhone app, so me be a little off if you are in laptop or android). The only difference was the dome light. I ordered the same he did but actually needed to order a wedge for it ( like the footwells). I will also be installing an additional switch for the dome light, because I really like to have the footwells on but don't want the dome light on, so I will be splicing the dome power wire and placing a simple switch so that I can control it.

Well, I did mine tonight. I went with blue and couldn't be happier. I followed someone's post and read wrong or it was posted wrong. I got 5 (74bhp) for the cluster in blue. I got 3 (neo4) in ultra white for the a/c controls , don't worry the white comes out nearly identical to the blue on the gauges due to the overlay behind the panel. The red on the temp dial is easy to see as well. If you do blue on the a/c controls it comes out more of a purple and the red becomes dark purple and hard to see. The only problem I encountered was I got 3 (neo3) bulbs for my switches and what I needed was 2 more (neo 4) bulbs. Although the neo 3's work on 2 switches where the little light comes on when the switches are on.
Anyways I know it didn't happen without pics so...

Have y'all done anything other than instrument cluster, HVAC controls, transmission indicator, and courtesy lights?

Either will work but you only need the wedge base and reuse your twist bases you already have.

Ok so I have followed this for some time and have read most of the post. I am now real angry @ PO. My jeep has no under dash/floor lights. Can someone tell me where they should be so I can try and find any part left of the light harness. My jeep is an 03 BTW. Why would someone take out the light harness could they just not take out the bulbs? Thanks for any info you can have. Pics would be great.

I hear ya...I can't find any footwell lights either...of course, I'm rolling in a 97, so that might be the reason...

Hey guys, I just did this mod last week. I ordered the 74-xHP (For my 97) bulbs and those worked great in the dash. I love the red. However, after seeing most guys thought the lights for the HVAC were somewhat dim, I decided to order the 74-xHP3 bulbs, (more leds, more light, right?) and I don't know if I broke the socket or whatever but I can't get those lights to turn on. Maybe they're not compatible there, just letting you 97 guys know

03+ has speaker pods as opposed to 97-02 sound bar that goes all the way across

I'm fairly sure they are different bulbs. Just go through the thread. There are list for all years, owners manual, the application guide at superbright or even go down to the auto parts store application catalog for the correct bulb type

If you check your owners manual it gives you the bulb types. You can find the manual online if you don't have it. When you look at the bulbs on the LED site, it lists the bulb types that each bulb replaces. As long as it replaces that type you are good. There are several bulbs that will work for each one you want to replace. For instance, I chose a bulb for the footwells that was 5 LED LIGHTS that shine in a 360 degree manner rather than the 12 LED LIGHTS that shine straight down in order to eliminate a Hot Spot. It just made sense to me. I figured, if I don't like the way it looks I only spent a couple bucks on them and I can get others. Hope that helps.

Pull them out, turn them 180° and put them back in and see if they light up. LED's are polar, and will only light up if the current is going the correct direction.

I hope somebody here can help me. I swapped out my bulbs for the LED's and they worked for about a minute and then they went out on their own. I can't get them to come back on. When they were working for that 1 minute I noticed that two of the bulbs looked like they needed to be turned around because of the polarity issues people have mentioned. So after they had gone out I turned them around hoping it would fix things but it didn't. I even tried switching back to the original bulbs but no luck. Any ideas????

FYI... all the other lights work, blinkers, high beam, check engine, etc.....

Are the lights non-refundable or non-replaceable. One thing with LED's if they are going to burn out it will most likely going to be in the first couple hours. They may have been duds and I would ask for a replacement. LED's only work one way, they are polarized, A lot of the LED manufacturers make them designed to prevent them from burning out if installed backwards. Since they did work for a min that tells me that they were in correctly or they would not have worked at all.

It is definitely not the LED's because I switched back to the regular bulbs and those don't work either. I pulled the #10 fuse behind the glovebox and when I did all the other lights in the instrument panel (CHECK ENGINE, ETC..) stopped working so I know the fuse is good. I found this wiring diagram online but I have no idea what the A3 means next to the ILLUMINATION (5 BULBS). http://www.autolib.diakom.ru/CAR/Jee...RAMS/13892.pdf

I wouldn't be shocked if there was some wiring problem because the car sat for about 8 years before I got it back on the road again a few weeks ago. Literally all the lights and switches are working except for the 5 bulbs behind the instrument panel.
