You sure the fuse in slot #4 is good? That's the only thing I can think of, unles they're switched off on the stalk...

i think that the fuse is good, i checked all of them and they where good. i will make sure. the little fuses can be kinda hard to see for me. the lights turn on and off with the switch on the turn single lever just fine. im thinking someone bypassed it so when the doors are off it would stay off. i just didnt know if there was another fuse or something somewhere.

As far as I am aware, there is no other shut off any where. I would replace the fuse.

Look at this, i did this to my jeep. I like rolling in the dark.

That is a common problem that I have heard of. Mine worked for about a week after I got my 98 back in 07. Hasn't worked since. I believe its an electrical issue.

IMO, its not worth fixing, I'm a little paranoid about accidently driving in 4wd so usually a few times a day I push down on my 4wd shifter to make sure its in 2wd, but if your in 4wd and you try turning on dry pavement you would know almost instanly that you are in 4wd when the front end binds up and "jumps"

Scared the heck outta me one time when I picked up my jeep from having the transmission and transfercase serviced, I went to turn out of the parking lot and it bound up. Then I realized it was in 4wd.

How does one "accidentally" put their Wrangler into four wheel drive?

You still need to figure out why they are not currently coming on. If it's not the fuse that switch is not going to help because the circuit is "open" somewhere else. It likely is the fuse, but you should confirm that before introducing the switch to the equation. Just my $0.02 anyway.

And just to confirm we are talking about Fuse #4, the very bottom right of the fuse block behind the glove box.
