TJ Half Door Window Frame Rack?

Has anyone made, or does anyone sell, a rack to mount on the tailgate that can hold the Jeep half door window frames with skins? Thanks, Paul

I always used the window bag, standing up behind the back seat, held in place by the folded down soft top-now use window bag lying flat in the back end.

Damn thats a pretty good idea! My only problem is I have so much crap in that area (tool box, medical kit, fire extin, emergency kits) to put something like that in there. That still is one heck of an idea!

what is odd when I first read this thread I thought you were looking for a "rack" to hold the uppers on the spare-outside the Jeep.-That's why I looked-might want one of those-especially if a solid mount that someone couldn't steal easily.

Outside rack to hold window upper frames

Yes that is exactly what I am talking about........my area behind the rear seat is already full and i was thinking on the outside, behind the rear door, between the door and spare..........maybe a spare rack with a gap to slide them into and lock in place? Maybe I design one? I was asking because I wasn't sure if it already exsisted on the market, thanks, Paul

Yeah that sounds good-If you find/or get something like that going, let me know. PM or whatever. Even with backseat out when it comes vaca time a couple suitcases, beach chairs, and a cooler in the back end of the Jeep and it is full. Always have tool box and recovery gear back there as well. Have a triangle shaped bag that goes on spare tire carrier-but don't feel real comfortable leaving tools/recovery gear in it strapped out in the open. Maybe 'cause not everyone would want upper windows - but tools and recovery gear are different.

Have considered the rack that suspends above the duster cover but it only holds 100lbs and would put things out in the elements. But would need the upper doors in that case and than would have room for everything under duster.

IDK-if you make or run across one, would be very interested in seeing pics-maybe purchase?
I have swing out tire carrier-wonder if that would make it easier or harder? Maybe something bolts to or hangs on the spare?

Hey Geoff @ Bestop anything in the works?
