Question TJ horn..........

Yesterday for the first time...

i beeped the horn in my 2006 Rubicon ...

i heard a high pitch signal....

I immediately pulled over stopped and got out to look under the hood...

there is only 1 horn ......

my 2001 TJ has 2 horns, a low tone and a high tone.... sounds manly... :cyclopsani:

WTF ? did jEEp run out of horns in 2006? or were they to lazy to bolt the low tone in a freakin 29K sticker priced Rubicon ?

please look under your hoods and vote how many horns are under there

BTW, i don't care how many horns are in your XJ,JK,KJ,WJ,CJ,MJ,MB, grandma's buick, motorcycle, ATV, golf cart, lawn tractor, or santas sleigh..

and no, i don't want one of those fancy digital horns that plays Dixie, or the dukes of hazzard themes...

i just want a normal horn...

Man you got shafted.

I am thinking of getting a Stebel Nautilus Air Horn
I had it on my old Miata. It saved me couple times from stupid blind drivers. One time i'm cruizing along, some Minivan in front of me and we both going the same speed. We passed up an RV that was on our left. After we pass it i went in its lane so now the van was next to me. Well the vans lane slowed down and the dude driving it tried to merge in my lane.. no blinker, didnt even look, just turned. Good thing that horn was there.. i bet ya he thought he was gonna get run over by that rv lol.

Anyhow good time to upgrade

I took my single horn out and put in one from my old 92 F250 (dual) and it really gets attention.

Just got one on the 04. can't remember what i had on the 98. I think they made that change for better aerodynamics and more low end torque.

You don't need a horn in a Rubi... you have the ability to just run over their arse.
