TJ Insurance

So I purchased my TJ a couple months ago and when I got insurance I just got some basic full coverage through AAA. I called back today to make sure all my extra things on my Jeep would be covered and the lady read off a list of things that could be covered and anything outside that list would not be covered. The only thing she read off that was applicable was larger tires. Needless to say I need to find another insurance company that will really cover my Jeep. Any suggestions? Just be careful or you will get hosed if something really happened to your TJ. I am sure Jerry can give us a great story on this one.

2000 Sahara, 3.5" Rubicon Express Lift, 1" spring spacer & 1" Body Lift, 33" or 35" BFG Mud tires, Front & Rear ARB, Rancho 9000 shocks, UCF Ultra High Belly Up

State Farm told me anything that is physically bolted/attached to my jeep. Best as I can tell... that's everything.

AAA covered my Jeep far better than they were required to. After my theft, they wrote me a check for well over what they were obligated to pay me. After my theft payout experience plus a few other Jeep incidents I am aware of that AAA covered, I am definitely not changing from AAA.
When you have a choice, buy American.

I have allstate. and did a stated value policy when I had the TJ(think that's what it was called) had to give them a list of what was on the jeep and get it appraised as well. Never had to use it.. also policy covered any damage to the jeep on or off road.

Rolled my Jeep Dec 26. The appraiser said $6200. When I picked it up, the bill was not quite $8100. The deductable was $750, later, I received a check from the insurance company for $1000, because I didn't use a rental car. So I made $250 for rolling my Jeep (don't recommend this as a way to make a little change). I bought my Jeep a year ago for $8250. My insurance company is Farmer's Insurance, and will remain so, for a while anyway.
