Tj lift

Hi guys. I have a deal on springs for a 2.5 lift. I have a stock 97 4cyl 5 speed and was wondering what else i would need to lift it, other than shocks.
Thanks

Welcome!

For a 2.5" lift all you need is shocks and springs. You may need a transfer case drop depending on if you have drive line vibrations or not, but normally you need that or a SYE with a 3"+ lift so I wouldn't worry. New control arms would be optional, as well as extended sway bar links.

Anyone know if he needs a track bar relocation bracket?

That 2.5" lift will settle to a 1.5" lift in a few months so you don't need much other then what stated. Tcase drop maybe, maybe not. I needed one on mine.

It will only sag if they are low quality springs. Even so, that takes years normally. Is that what happened to yours? Coil bind?

Nope. I had RC 2.5 lift that settled in a few months. Now I have BDS coils and its like night and day (although I did keep the RC shocks but it hasn't affected the ride IMHO)

I was looking at rough country springs with about 7k on them. Think they will sag?
