Installing the CB was easy. I used the power from the dome light and hid the coax and power in the rollbar padding. The RockHard roll cage provided a very nice mounting location. Uniden 510XL and 4' Firestik. SWR's 1.6 at both channel 1and 40. Working well.

Removing the RC lift was a bit of a chore. The end result was really worth the extra effort and money. The Super Ultimate DPG Kit is not inexpensive.

I also replaced some break lines to allow for more travel.

Still waiting on the Nitto Mud Grapplers.

Ordered the 39 tooth speedo gear, waiting on that too.

Three things Nick.

1)The control arms & motor mounts look great!
2)Never grease the quick discos again.
3)Do you know the trick to installing the new gear? You can't put it in the same way as the old one, it won't fit. You have to rotate the housing around to one of the other two notches. (There are three total.) I learned this the hard way. It won't fit clocked like the stock gear, the next position should it should fit and work. The third position it'll fit but the gears won't mesh so it won't work. Thanks to a phone call to Tim I can share that information with you today.

Also, you can pry that bracket off the e-brake cables. FYI.

Looks good Nick. Which coils did you go with?

Also watch the rear shocks on the coil buckets, some require clearancing.

I got the no grease sermon from Dirk too. Lol. I will not disco very often and think that the grease will keep the dirt out and also keep it free. We will see.

The most trouble I had was my break lines and the broken rear shock bolt. Everything else went fairly smooth.

That looks just sick--especially seeing its roots. Perhaps you are ready to open up shop locally?

Great work--everything is extremely functional and tasteful. For a good off-road rig, that looks crazy clean.

thanks for the kind words. Not going to be opening any offroad shop I am nowhere near good enough to make any money at that.

I own and operate a gunshop. I will stick with that.

Functional offroad rig was what I wanted. Off to Moab in June.

You are correct. That's the factory lens. I replaced the other side.

Amazing Jeep Nick. I just read this whole thread and have been impressed with your work from start to finish! I wish I could do most of what you have done to my Wranglenater.

I bought a Jeep with a salvage title knowing it needed work and was prepared to spend money and time.
The original plan was to get it road worthy and turn it quickly to make a few bucks. Well thanks to some great WF members I kept it did more work and in June will be testing it in Moab.

Installed the 39 tooth speedo gear.

I have two more things to do before Moab.
Mount my Hi-lift
Replace my battery tray.
