I was wondering how much my 97 jeep tj would be worth. It is a 2.5l, 2.5in lift,31's, cold air intake, exhaust(glasspack), a hard and soft top . It also just passed 150,000 miles a few days ago.

Should of took it. Prices may be different where you are at. But for your jeeps spec here ...4k, maybe up to 5 with may mods.

4 bangers are harder to sell sometimes as they are not as desired as the 6 which bring more money.

Check the local craigslist for listings close to what your jeep is. Location is a large conflict with pricing.

I wish I would have but it's hard for me to do that being in trade school. I looked on kbb the other day and my jeep was valued at about 7500 or so

Around here, 5K to 6K asking price. Don't know how much they really sell for that price.

I gave $7300 for mine a month ago. It's a 99 4 cyl, soft top, half doors, with a winch, pretty new dueller a/t's, and only 78k miles. If someone is offering anywhere near $8 for it, I think you should take it.

Definitely should have taken it; I got a 98 4 banger almost two years ago for $3500. Being a 2.5l, they don't usually bring the same price a 4.0l does unless the buyer doesn't have much experience in the Jeep world (like myself when I bought mine; I've since upgraded to a nice 4.0l).
