tj questions

just trying to get some overall general information on the tj.
i havent bought one yet but am in the market and dont want to make a mistake before i buy.

first off what is gonna be pros and cons of both the 3 speed auto and the 5 spd manual?

i will want to run 35" tires how are the stock dana 30 and 35 gonna hold up to this sized tire. (this is primarilly gonna be a street vehicle and an ocasional trail truck)?

also what gears should i run with 35's manual trans and auto trans?

is there such thing as a jeep that has a 4-6" lift big tires rides decent on the road and can hold interstate speeds?

No jeep yet.
Lookng for a 6cyl tj

Dude...Those are pretty big tires. I'm not the expert that others are on here, but from what I have read, I would not run those tires without the Dana 44 that the Rubi comes with. I don't believe that anyone runs over 33s with the Dana 35. Again...the 'experts' will chime in, but I think you are pushing it. What I will say definitively is to get the 5 speed. IMO the automatic is just not appropriate for a Jeep.

x2 on getting a Rubicon, It may cost a little more but from what you seem to want (35s,highway speeds, etc)it would be worth it.
