TJ Rubicon Chrome?

Hey Everyone,

I have a '04 Rubicon and was looking to change my hinges, handles, gas cap to chrome. The black ones have been getting rusty. Before I do it, I wanted to see what it would look like. Has anyone done this already and be willing to post some pics? Or know a website where you can customize a jeep to see how it would look?

Thanks for the help

Posting pictures of your jeep would prob be best.

Not mine, just one I googled. I actually like it, but everyone is in the "black everything out" phase right now around here

Check out the Stainless Exterior Trim Kits we have. You'll see some pictures on the site that will give you an idea of what your rig will look like. Let me know if you have any questions or would like a quote!

I'm a chrome fan myself. Nothing wrong with blacked out if that's what you want.

Hey KS... that's the only image I could find too, looks real nice... and I understand people saying no to this... but my old ones are getting rusty and I wanted to make it look cleaner. It's a tough decision

LoL! Yea...there is a huge aversion to chrome, or anything too "shiny" around here. I don't like actual *chrome*: too hard to maintain...but stainless steel is fine. Nice to be able to just leave it alone and not worry about rust and pitting all the time. It's your Jeep so...go for it! Chrome may not get ya home but....Black may not get ya back, either! 8)

My $.02...chrome on my Harley always had me cleaning it to make it shine. All black on my Jeep, wash it if I'm bored or my Daughter wants something to do. Touch up is easy to, Krylon. It's your's, do what you want.

Thats why I use stainless steel. Never had to do anything to the hinges or entry guards...just Windex 'em once in a while...

There's a place in the Phillipines that makes stainless steel Jeep bodies...not TJ, Just CJ, I believe...can you imagine driving one of those shiny Jeeps around? LoL! Would be fun...for a while Then I'd have to paint it....
