TJ seat swap

Hi I have a 02 tj with worn driver seat. I'm think to put seats out of 05 tj.
Will they fit? Do I need to do some mods?
Also I heard that grand Cherokee seat will fit.
What's your opinion on it.
Thank you

That's a great price! I have been considering the same thing as well! I like the style of the newer seats.

It's my understanding, that the floorpans are the same for all TJs, from 97 to 06. There were some roll bar variations, and some header bar variations (which effected the tops), but none of that should matter to your question.

I put 03 seats into my 97. Unbolted the old seats and risers and bolted in the 03 seats and risers. Perfect fit.
