Here's my issue. There is only one slider. I think this is a factory top. I don't know if I need a new rear window or just sliders.

You should have 2 for the rear window. Unless you have damaged or missing teeth on the rear window or soft top side, replacement zipper sliders are cheap and I would try this first before buying a window. Zipper slider size#10

Wattapunk. I know. One broke off, bought this used. The problem I see trying to get new ones on is this appears to have locking bars on the ends to keep the zippers captured. I don't know how I will get the new sliders over these.

Chris,

How's the Jeep coming!!

I actually ground off the bars to put new sliders on. So basically the slider on the Left (driver side) get side up 1/2" on zipper so it doesn't fall off. However, when you take the back window out make sure you take both sliders completely off! Oh and clean the teeth real well so they close tight.

I used:
Zipper Resucue Slider ~ YKK #10 Coil Long Pull with 2 Heads- Jeep S... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005HI540G/..._hd0jtb0NCGKEB

I had to use dremmel to "open" slider a bit. Do NOT try and pry it open!!!!!! And buy several as S&H is more than the cost of one and the same for 4-5.

You can get around that by prying the new slider wider with a larger flat head screwdriver to fit on the teeth. Then close the gap with pliers. I fixed zipper issues this way in the past.

I read your thread and have a Smitty bilt top with a rear window that has shrunk and tore zipper. I have the sewing machine to sew it together. I have contacted them with no answer to replace just window and complete zipper. Let me know where I can get rear window with zipper if you can. Thanks Shawn Shawneaver38@gmail.com or 269 650 3772
