Question TJ Speakers

How good sound quality is in TJ factory speakers? If I want better quality and better bass sound is worth to change the factory speakers to stock/custom?
Some models have the sub woofer in center console so affects this woofer anything to the sound?, because the woofer is between that seat and console

The TJ factory speakers are awful. If you want any kind of sound that even resembles quality, you will want to replace them. What I did as well as many others is replace the dash speakers with quality 5.25 speakers and put 6.5s in the sound bar. Also stuff some poly-fil behind and around the new speakers. This is a simple and affordable improvement. You will probably want a new head unit as well.

Here are a couple of pics of what I did. BIG improvement. I'm still planning on adding an amp and sub once I decide where I want to mount everything.

I put 5 1/4 components in the dash with the tweeters on the top corners of the dash. I also have 5 1/4's in the sound bar. I took the stock sub out of the center console, because it sounded awful, and got two 10's in the back behind the seat. Sounds fantastic now!

The poly-fil helps reduce echo and enhances acoustics. Without it, the soundwaves bounce around inside the enclosure and can "escape" any unsealed areas. The poly-fil gives you a tighter sound basically.
