TJ suggestions for new suspension help please!

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 2000 TJ 4cyl. 5 speed a couple weeks ago. I'm currently sanding and painting the frame but its going to need some upgrades such as shocks and a suspension. I haven't taken it off road yet (my daily driver) but was wondering if you have any suggestions for a good solid suspension and good shocks as well...

I don't think I want to lift it since it's already pretty slow, any suggestions?

I'm not looking to spend money on a suspension and shocks I'm gonna have to worry about later on, but also don't want to spend money on a kit that I won't need like extreme off roading, maybe off road once in a while.

Please Help! Also something that's not going to break my balls installing it..if that's possible lol.

Also if I'm going to need anything else let me know!

Thanks!

I'd buy ome shocks
A good set of 28" all terrains and enjoy the hell out of it

With small tires the lil 4 cylinder does well in stock form

Just put the OME Heavy front & rear on my 05 LJ with Pro-comp 7089 wheels , Cooper ST Maxx LT265/75R16 , Rides great, tires are quiet, just enough lift. Bumpers are in the near future next.
