TJ Tailgate Table?

I have seen many products like this for JK's but can't seem to find any for a TJ? That same company makes one but it's the only one I've seen and haven't seen any write ups on it for a TJ

I have also seen other varieties with the ability to stow cargo (an ax, shovel etc) on the underside of the table....sweet idea and good use of space IMO

I'm not opposed to making my own but wouldn't mind seeing some examples of one on a TJ before I start going down that road.

Modifying the tailgate so it folds down instead of to the side sounds cool at first but the more you use a fold-down tailgate, the more you'll probably hate it. Fold-down tailgates are fine for a picnic lunch table but they make it a lot harder to get inside the rear to get what you need. Which is why Jeep changed the tailgate from a fold-down tailgate to one that opens to the side for better/easier access to the interior.

Webegpn, thanks I'll look at their site.

Jerry, I'm talking about a folding table that attaches to the stock tailgate and folds down for a little working surface or prep station for cooking. Not interested in the fold down tail gate for the reasons you mentioned along with the fact that they almost all look bad.
