Post TJ trunk build

I am thinking about building a lockable trunk like insta-trunk, add-a-trunk or sth similar. anyone had done this before?

I have a piece of wood for mine with some speakers mounted on the bottom side.
Not lockable...yet

i woudlnt invest too much into it. the best thing to do is leave no valuables behind. the insta trunk will stop a quick snatch and grab type theft but thats it. a 3 ft crowbar and you could have that insta trunk out within minutes.

Here is my trunk

I have added sections to the rear corners and attached locking shed latches. Now when it is closed and tail gate is locked everything is secure.

Had this setup when I went to Colorado. Got rained on and everything stayed nice and dry.

Even provides a nice place to attach the cooler.

The cooler serves that purpose as well.
