If you are going with Aftermarket rims then 15x8 with about 3.75" of backspacing will be good for you. With that you will be able to mount up to a 12.50 wide tire on there.

15 x 8 with a 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern.
with that size tire(30" / 9.5) backspacing should not be an issue.
but if you were to go up to lets say 31" / 10.5 i would suggest a wheel with atleast a 3.75" backspacing.

i might be off base but i'm sure some one here will correct me.

For 30x9.50, 15x7 is good or 15x8 at the very widest. A 15x8 will allow for growth to 33x12.50 or even 35x12.50 though. Anywhere from the factory 5.5" of backspacing to as little as 3.75" of backspacing, though 3.75" will make them stick out a tad.

With steel wheels, you could find 4.5" of backspacing but with aluminum, it'd be hard to find more than 3.75" of backspacing except with factory wheels.

I just hate doing things more than once. So if I knew that someday I was going to go bigger than 30's I'd just get the wheels that would allow me to do so without spending anymore money.
