Tj with some sound finally...

I was pretty fed up wih my jeeps stereo as its my daily driver now that i sold the Evo. Previous owner had no mechanical/electrical sense of any sort so i have been fixing what he fixed since i bought the jeep. previous owner had a $30 head unit in and had grounded all the wires to plastic connections. so i ripped out every wire he had "rigged" up and rewired my new head unit in.

Sony Headunit with iphone hook up

The Quadratech Ivault...

Qlogic 10in subwoofer enclosure - things amazing for the price - has a 2010 alpine type R 10in sub in it.

Pioneer 800w mono d amp - in the gloovebox

i fashioned some metal brackets outta flexible duct hangers to mount the amp in the glovebox because i wanted a clean unnoticeable setup, and even tho i have a hard top i still run the half doors and didn't want anyone braking in.. so what they cant see they don't want.

not the greatest install but for the money it sounds amazing.

How does that q-logic enclosure sound? That's something I've been looking for. Nice looking setup and I like the amp idea!

My Evo is now garaged and the wrangler is my dd. I feel like I am in a similar situation as you being that some of the electronics seem to be quickly thrown together. Previous owner did some cheap things!

I'm not a big sub woofer guy.. i listen to mainly metal (lamb of god, as i lay dying, etc..) so big bass isn't really my thing. with that being said, with the alpine type r, this thing hits HARD and isnt going anywhere. the box quality is top notch. Really hard plastic outer liner with large 10in sealed enclosure with filler and connectors included. i feel like it could survive being caught out in the rain for a short period of time. I feel its the best, and only design on the market that works for jeep drivers...

Man I hated selling the evo... almost cried when I parted it out and watched it drive away.
