To go or not to go?

Since it has been raining a lot everywhere across the US, I was wondering when do you call off a Jeep outing? What is the worst rain storm you have been in with your TJ out on the trail?

Well here on the East coast I have not had the chance to take the top down and the doors off for more than 3 days.

I'm in the east myself (north Ga) and have only had the top up one or two days in the last month. Besides, wheeling during or near after rain is often the best times to go.

yeah uh dude.. most of the US has been in a horrific drought. No rain at all. Rain is out there but it's not common for most. Isaac is kinda changing things this week for some people who haven't seen rain in manny weeks.\

Done some wheeling in some really heavy rains.. However I didn't have any moving water crossings to deal with at that time. I would say cancel it if you plan on camping the night or if you have to deal with crossing a stream that is supose to be a stream and not a river. Basically if it's just a day trip, go for it.. and don't attempt to cross any fast moving water
