To Paint or not to Paint...?

Hey guys I just need some of your opinions. I recently got rid of my Half Doors for Full Doors. The fulldoors were black and when I put them on the jeep and I keep looking at them I think they look good on the red. So I am kinda undecided. I know its my jeep but I don't want to drive around looking stupid so I'd like to hear everyones opinions.

Looks great. the black doors are a bit shiny compared to the hard top but it looks cool. You should name you jeep after some bug which is red and black.

I would paint the side view of the front seats on each door so it looks like the doors are off... haha

actually I seriously DO like the black doors, agreed that they are a bit too shiny. Maybe paint them flat black and closer match them to the fenders. Maybe even rhino liner them?

I would paint from the body line under the handle down red and leave the top portion of the body line black...

not bad, I like the black door. but i think the red would also look good. if i was gonna paint them, i'd do it red, i wouldn't bother repainting them black unless you paint the trim and rocker guards too, just IMO. i'm in the same dilemna, i have a metal emerald green jeep but the new full doors are midnight blue. they'd probably go together to get me through the winter. however, since all the exterrior pieces are black, I'll probably paint the doors green to match. I already plan on repainting the jeep next summer. the new color for that is to be determined.

Looks good and different!!! but it wouldnt be a bad idea down the road after you save some money or something to paint them but either way looks good.I wouldnt make fun of your jeep if I saw you driving down the road, but I would make fun of a Hummer or a jeep with 20's

IMO it looks like you did exactly what you said...put black doors on a red jeep.

It would look ok if you had all the black on the jeep the same shade...the hard top, the doors and the fender flares, and the rims are all black but each one has a different finish. I say paint it all to match...or just make em red.

To me the doors look good with the top, I mean the top has shiny windows so that's just nitpicking imo.
I think painting the fenders and armor with Krylon Fusion Black would do the trick and only take an hour or so and cost only a few bucks.
