To tera lo or not tera lo that is the ?

Was wondering if anybody is running this set up in their t case,pros and cons to having this set up,putting a slip yoke elim. was thinking about up grading gears while its apart. any imput would be cool

Some people love them, some people hate them. Some people they have lasted a long time, other are constantly replacing parts.

I don't have one, but there is a thread somewhere comparing the tera low to stock. I personally wouldn't run one. They use an inferior pinion gear design that likes to implode with heavy use and/or to much speed.

previous owner had one installed in my TJ when i bought it. i have yet to use it. if i didn't have it, i think there are other things i would spend my money on. but that's just me.

oh, i thought the tera low kit was the one that goes into low, but just 2WD lo. i understand that can come in handy for the hardcore rock crawlers. but i haven't used it yet.

Thanks for the info. guys,heard stories of t cases locking up due to gears exploding,lots of peeps say tera low is junk!! just needed to hear other peeps imput,going to spend my money on other stuff i need.

Well there is the tera 2 low kit but its available separately from the teralow kit.
I though about the teralow and I found some people were happy with it however I seemed to find more people having problems than not. I think the most common cause of failure is driving to fast in 4 low but I'm still not going to take a chance on it. I'm looking for a decent price on a 241OR..
