top and fender flare question (Regarding colors)

I have a black top on my green TJ, and I need new side windows and a back window. Has anyone ever seen a green Jeep or any Jeep with a mix of black and tan on the top?

Reason I ask this is because I have someone who can give me some windows for free but they're tan.

Second question. Were I to run multi color top would tan fender flares look good? I've never seen a Jeep with tan flares before other than a color matched Sahara.

Here's a picture of my Jeep prior to loss of windows

If your that worried about the color, there is some fabric paint out there. I don't know if it's waterproof for the exterior.

I agree with the previous post. Warmth over style.

Yea I'm about to just stop worrying about how bad it may or may not look. Cold sucks. Fabric paint might work I never really thought about that. This coming summer I'm probably going to replace it with a tan top though because all of my interior is tan plus I'll have extra money when I get out of basic to do some upgrading.

Get yourself warm first. Look for the Krylon Fusion threads and change color next year. You can always spray it again if you don't like the color combo.

There's probably a reason nobody has ever seen green & tan

Note make sure of the years. The side window zipper orientation changed 97-02, 03-06

Also make sure the windows are from the same manufacturer as your top or the zippers may not line up right. I think tan flares could go well but with a full tan top. You could always snag the free windows and keep your eyes out for a tan top.

I had to do this for a while on my old jeep. I wasn't to big on at first but then I kinda got used to it. And surprisingly a lot ppl told me it looked good. (Don't know if they were serious or just being nice)

And you could always try to trade them for black ones on Craig's list or something...
