My jeep feels like god himself is shaking it at 70 due to the wind, I can only imagine it at 110.

huh....i hit 90 on the highway. obviously i didn't stay there but my wrangler has no problems doing that. I was wondering why? Granted it's mostly stock which is probably why haha but still wranglers aren't known for speed.

Cause there shaped like boxes, short wheel base, high ride height.

All that equals a very sketchy ride at high speeds haha.

110 mph and only at 3300 RPM? Something smells fishy.

I mean I guess in 5th its believable, especially if he has 3.07 gearing. That would be so scary doing 110 in a Wrangler. I can't even imagine lol.

WOW! Yea i get to 60 and i just pretend im doing a hundo! The wind and noise is enough lol, for going fast i got my 02 HONDA 954rr now that thing will get up to 130 with the flick of a wrist. But in a jeep Whew that's probably scary as hell doing 100! That being said i went fast a few times on the bike, recently lost a buddy so my speed days are over lol.

My top speed was 95 and it was with a big tailwind. I was following a Civic and didn't realize it until I looked down at the speedo and let off the gas. Mine gets sketchy at 75 and with gas prices the way they are, I try to stay under 65.

my jeep does not mind 90 mph with a bit of time. Im more worried about the law then the jeep.
but today there was a head wind and i was enjoying 60-65 on the interstate.

My 2000 can barely hold 70/75, well it has +200000 miles, with 35s and 3.73s, she is getting really tired. I had a 95 and I had it up to 98mph and at that point the jeep unweighted and got really light in the steering, pretty scary. I backed out of it right there.

While traveling to OK in my '07 JK

Had plenty more but I slowed down because I can't afford any more tickets.

Also... this was on stock wheels and tires before I put on my new ones.

I would do this if I didn't have to dish out $50 on a 1/3 of a tank fill up and a bunch of stupid and old drivers.

I've had mine over 80 and road fine. Stock with 31's tho. Now I see a red jeep burn by me 3 or 4 times a month that's got to be running 90+. More power to him. I'm good in the far right lane running 65. lol

I normally run mine around 80 with 3.73 gearing and 31s. It even does pretty well in the mountains at this speed.

Did 80 once when it was fairly new and I was still expecting to being able to hammer down the interstate like I did in my XJ. Now I don't go over 70 unless the speed limit is higher than that.

Had mine up to 92 in no time on the interstate. 11 sahara with 373 trac loc. Auto tran. I think it will top 100 very easy. Oh by the way the nav keeps a record of your top speed in big 2 inch numbers and remembers it forever. I will post a pic when I break the century mark.

had mine to 75 and that was enough. still had pedal to go, but that was enough for me. routinely do 55 to 60 on the hiway.

When my 05 Rubi was still stock it did fine at 85 on an Interstate, took it 4-wheeling several times from Colorado to Nevada and California. Now with 4 1/2 RE LA and 35 inch rubber I keep it around 75 on the Interstate. It handles as good now as it did stock. If going out of state now I trailer it. Hate to burn up the high dollar rubber.

I know mine has a speed limiter. I hit it on the dyno once. I don't remember what it was, but I think it was 99 or maybe 110.

I wouldn't do that to my Jeep or risk the other drivers near me. Hard to pay attention while videoing your speedometer at that speed. Jeez.

Mine reads 75 but it actually is going about 82. Had my girlfriend following along side of me because I knew that my speedo was not reading correctly. 32.8" tires and 2.5" BB with hard top

So far on 75 mph for me and boy did my unlimited take a long time even with it's sport engine to get that high. I wonder if a diesel engine would fit in the jeep then go to mcdonalds and ask for the deep fryer oil and just screen that and just start feeding that into the engine. Free fuel for that modification.
