tow hich or bumper?

can anyone rcomend a good tow hitch?

I was thinking of buying a cheap bumper from ebay with a hitch are they tow ratd or any good..

I need a hitch to mount my mtn bike. but really dont wan to spend too much.. I perfer a rar bumpe with a hitch but money is tight in this economy..

Recomendation good bike rack that will fit the jeep without a hitch is cool also.

if you off road at all i would recommend getting the hitch bumper. regular hitches hang low and sometimes get caught on obstacles and stuff. the hitch bumpers usually have a class II rated hitch, which means the maximum towing capacity is 3500 Lbs. and a tongue weight of 350 lbs. the recommended towing capacity of a tj is 2500 Lbs. i have an olymipc hitch bumper and it works great for towing.

how many bikes are you carrying?

isnt class II 1 1/4'' ??

I would like a 2'' so I can tow anything int he future, and use an adamper for a bike hitch..

I guess Ill have to wait.. and save up.. Hopefully before summer track days, camping, and trail riding.

I have a hidden hitch. It hits stuff every once in awhile but never gets hung up. I dont do any extreme rock crawling though. If you dont, you will be fine with one of these.

I've got a hitch and I use it as a skidplate for my gastank. Works like a champ!!
