Tow Hooks 1998

Where can you place tow hooks on a 1998 Wrangler? Do you have to drill new holes in the frame?

Thanks

You can place tow hooks in the stock location on a TJ in the front.

These are what I have, but I bought the ones without the little rope holder and bolts, so I used my own grade 8 bolts I had laying around.

On the rear, I have a tow hitch and a hook for the hitch.

Tow Hooks

Thanks man, you've been a big help. Thought that was the easiest location to install. Keep turning those wrench's and shinning those rides, that keeps em happy.

Not just the easiest, but one of the best, you have to always attach tow points directly to the frame or have a bumper that's plenty strong and has reinforcements to the frame.

Just bolt them in the bumpers as mentioned above. Works great!

Old note to self, and one I'll pass along.

The ball mount for the whip antenna IS NOT where you wrap the chain around!!!!!!

Taught me to NOT let someone else hook up the chain.
