I don't know anything about the Jeep Towbars,
but U-Haul will rent you a Tow Trailer that you can put you Rig onto.
From what I remember, they aren't to expensive either.
And if you're renting a U-Haul anyways, that might be a good way to go.

Read the instructions in you're owners manual.

T-case in neutral.

Transmission in gear (2nd for a manual)

Rig some lights (brakes and blinkers)

Whatever you use to tow needs to be "capable". I.E. brakes capable of stopping the extra weight and rigged to allow for the brake/blinkers to be plugged in.

uhaul will rent you a trailer. Don't tell them what is going on it.

If your moving I'm assumming your renting a moving truck or panel truck. If so I would say go with Penske rental, there truck & trailer was cheaper then UHaul, when I moved out to Ohio.

Uhaul wanted like $700 for the rental, Penske was only $200 for truck & $150 for trailer.

I am a uhaul dealer (no crap about it please! =) Uhaul will not rent a tow dolly or auto transport without knowing what is going on it. I did check and the uhaul system shows that a jeep wrangler will fit on either one. BUT measure the width of your jeep. A auto transport is about 75 inches wideand a tow dolly is about 68 inches wide. if you find a better deal elsewere call uhaul and they will probably match it.

x2 when i moved to NC from PA we looked at both and Penske was MUCH cheeper than U-Haul (no offense)

Uhaul, will NOT match it, cause I tried that back in November and they so NO, that that price was in stone. So from now on I will be renting from Budget or Penske since the prices are friendlier.

The Jeep will fit, but if you have bigger tires, you might want to pick-up some tie downs from Home Depot, since the ones that go over the tires didn't fit mine and I'm running 33's
