Track bar mount?

Hello everyone. Im a recent wrangler owner of a few weeks now but I've seemed to run into a little problem. I have a 98 TJ and I live it NY which is notorious for our salty winters. The rust has gotten to my track bar mount on the passenger side of the jeep and its broken off from the frame..been looking to just buy another one and weld it back onto the frame. I've gone to a couple local part stores and called a few dealers and none of them have the part and the dealers are saying that I would have to buy a whole frame for that part but Im not looking to spend 3g's on a new frame and thats before labor. Anyone know If and where I might just be able to get the mount? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Any welder worth his salt could easily fabricate weld one up for you. It's nothing more than two small 3/16" plates boxed in and welded to the axle tube. I'm just a hack fabricator and welder but I could replace mine in an hour or two with my sawzall, grinder, and MIG welder.

I could have a friend fabricate one for me but I'm worried that if its not exact it could throw the allignment off.

It absolutely will not throw the alignment off. Your axle moves left-right as your suspension moves up and down anyway so this is hardly a dimensionally critical bracket. Heck I had to move the hole for that bracket 3/4" over towards the driver's side years ago for a temporary fix if that gives any indication of how critical it is.

I do believe any company such as Poison Spyder that sells builder parts and brackets will sell them or as suggested any decent fab shop can do it for you.
