Track bar not level at driver's side mount

I am going to go out on a limb and guess that this (in picture) is supposed to be parallel to the mount. I am guessing the "genius" that installed the lift kit for the prior owner didn't have much of a clue.

They repositioned the stock track bar, and used a dropped pitman arm. Caused horrible bump steer. Previous owner lived with it for years.

Now I am trying to fix it. Removed the DPA and it is already better, however, it feels like the entire Jeep slides through turns. I think the wheels are staying solid but it feels like I am all over the place. I was told that it was either a loose track bar or worn track bar bushings. From the picture, I assume this is what is causing the "drift" feel.

I ordered an adjustable track bar. Should be here sometime next week. Is there something else I can do to help the sliding feeling go away? Does the rear need to be replaced as well?

Thanks!

No the mounting points are the same with an adj. TB. But you will re-center the axle with it. At the moment your front axle should stick out a bit at the drivers side.

by sticking out, do you mean closer to the front, or more to the right (looking at the picture)?

Take a look at the fender flare and the tire. If it looks the same on both sides itīs centered. With 3-4" lift my front axle sticked about 1" out at the drivers side.
