Hey guys I live in Montgomery TX on Lake Conroe. Are there any good trails in this area or within 20 miles? I am interested in some good trails to rid on the weekends. Nothing to crazy, but still challenging enough. Also if there are any jeep clubs in my area would be cool as well.
i was just told of a place in Crosby, Deep South Off Road Park, 700 acres of trails, several lakes, but only open on sat and sun. $5.00 a person $10 per off road vehicle. i haven't been there myself so if you go let me know how it is
I'd be interested in going here if anyone would like to meet up. I'd be in a Stock 01 Wrangler Sport on 31's, so I wouldn't doing anything too serious, but drive around and have fun would be good....and I guess there won't be any mud, so that'd be fine as well.
I'm down for any weekend pretty much except this weekend since I won't be paid until next Friday.
I love mud, but the Jeep isn't mine, so I'd prefer not to do any driving that could potentially damage it. So if we could get a small group of people to go, that'd be awesome. I do have tow hooks on the front and a tow hitch in the back with a hook receiver and a 30' recovery strap.
If you are just looking for trails, Sam Houston National Forest should have plenty... especially around the North side of Lake Conroe and closer to Lake Livingston. Or head East a little more to Lake Sam Rayburn.
I will be up for the Crosby park sometime soon....just not October. I would like to go out there a weekend in November though. I have heard it is sort of a redneck paradise, but if you can look past that, it makes for a fun day.
I am stock on 30s, so we'll all be on the same page vehicle-wise.
count me in if its late oct or november, keep me posted.
