tranny oil changes

I have a 2005 wrangler unlimited auto tranny with about 66,000 miles on it and in looking at scheduled maintenance it doesnt say or i have overlooked it about how many miles to do a tranny and filter change should be. Any of you long timers have a suggestion since this is my first jeep?? Dont want to wait too long just in case already too long.
thanks for any help.

It's time to do a flush of your transmission and no you don't have to worry about it being too late. Unless the transmission is coming apart inside, like clutch packs, gears, etc., it's never too late to do a flush and refill it with fresh ATF.

Make sure to only use ATF+4, nothing but a bottle that specifically says ATF+4 on the front of it. No, Mobil-1 Synthetic ATF is not suitable.

x2.

It's a messy job but your tranny will thank you for it.

They can back flush 12 quarts and no filter or drain 6 quarts with a filter. I also have a 2005 and did the 12 quart. I felt like why add to the old and only change half. When they back flush it pushes the crap out of the filter is what the dealer and transmission both said.

Make sure to have the filter inside the tranny pan replaced when flushing it. Back flushing it doesn't get rid of the crap trapped in the filter.

Mobil-l Synthetic is good in most trannys, does it cause a problem in the Jeep autos? Thought I'd read where it could be used in the Jeep autos but maybe the senior memory is acting up again.
