Transfer Case Questions

While doing some maintenance today, I noticed that there was a slight leak at the end of the shaft where the driveline attaches. How common is this and how much to replace the seal?

Additionally when I drained my transfer case oil, I found some gold looking shavings. Is that normal? I have some vibration at the back of my jeep but I thought it was because I have 2.5" lift and the driveshaft has not been replaced.

Sounds like its the output shaft seal on the end of the t-case that needs replaced. I've done it before on the 231 cases which is fairly easy, but I've never done one on the 241 your Rubicon has so I'm not sure of the procedure or how difficult it is. Here's a bump at least so hopefully someone else can chime in with a suggestion.
