transmission

Everything is unbolted from my 6 speed how do I get it pulled away from the engine

I got it pulled back. How do I remove the shifter it is an 05 6 speed

Has anyone removed a shifter off a 05 or 06 tj I can not get it off. I have all the boots off and the torx bit bolt out. I tried pushing down and turning still can't get it

I have mine out, once I removed the torx bolt it came right out, my question is, is there a spring in there? Because I have one now, and can't figure out where it goes:-P

I left mine hooked up and took it out. Had to just take the front part of the council out
