transmission probs

Hi all! Im a jeep girl and this is prob a girl question lol! I drive a 2000 4.0 automatic with 119,000 miles. Can I be stuck in 4H? My steering feels like im in 4WD. Also, the lever moves freely and it feels right, but when im driving lately in the snow, im spinning front tires like front drive isnt working. In 4L it seems to work though. And lastley, im also leaking transmission fluid sporadically. Just had rusted trans lines replaced. Can it be coming from transfer case? Thanks to anyone who can help

Trans case does take atf but its not connected via fluid to your trans.. If your not afraid to get dirty.. Put some safety glasses (keeps the rust and dirt from fallin in your eyes) on and crawl under it and try to better pinpoint where its leakey.. Whats oily dirty or wet... As for the tc being in 4wd could be a linkage issue or an adjustment to the linkage needed. Any body lift?

U can install and fix these problems yourself if u research and ask questions here your off to a great start

So your post confuses me. 2wd front don't move it's rear wheel drive. 4 high and low they move but the diff may make it not visible to you. An outsider will see other tire spinning. Just need to describe better. What is the problem? When does it happen? Does anything make it better or worse? Is it all the time or random? Can you replicate it?
